Marysville is the second largest city in Snohomish County, just behind Everett, with a population of about 63,000 people and growing. Nicknamed “The Strawberry City”, unto which each year there’s a summertime celebration; ‘The Strawberry Festival’, celebrating this distinction.
Marysville is located along the I-5 corridor just north of Everett and about 30 minutes north of Seattle. Neighboring communities are Lake Stevens, Everett, and Arlington. For the hikers, skiers, boaters. Campers alike, it’s all here within a short drive. Marysville is right smack dab in the middle of the Pacific Northwest, where your hearts desire is all around you.
Everything is pretty much all around you in Marysville, where you'll have it all, infamous outlet malls, big box retailers, movie theaters, restaurants, churches, parks and plenty of shopping.
When looking for a home in Marysville there's a good mixture of both newer and older homes for sale. Generally speaking Marysville is a commuter’s community, to where the area is much more reasonably priced for value vs. the immediate Seattle area. While there’s plenty of employment within the area, many folks commute to Everett (Boeing) and surrounding Seattle area.
